Calling out from Washington state!

Having two pet chickens as a child (Beaker and Captain Midnight), I thought I was the only one that saw chickens for what they could be -- a great companion. Boy, was I wrong!

Now have 6 darling chicks I got this last weekend and am in process of setting up the hen house and pen. The flock consists of:

- 2 Ameraucanas
- a Barred Rock
- a Black Sex Link
- a Silver-laced Wyandotte
- a Rhode Island Red

Am looking for two Buff Orpingtons to round out the group. (If anyone has a line on any available in Western Washington, please let me know.)
I am looking forward to learning more on keeping the girls happy and health; especially ideas on enrichment activities.
