Calling welsh harlequin experts

I’ve been on the hunt for welsh harlequin eggs to hatch and have been having trouble finding some local so was gonna do shipped. Just today I found someone local selling fertile eggs. They sent some pics of when they were getting their adult feathers in and they seem dark to me? But I’ve never had any welsh harlequins and don’t know much about them. What’s your opinion on their coloring? Are they within the “standard”?

I am not an expert and have only had one Welsh Harlequin but, she was different and darker when she was young (first picture) than older (second picture).

Oh wow. I wouldn’t guess that’s the same duck. That’s weird how the brown went away on her face.

How old are the ducks in the pic they sent you? Do they only have one pair?

All’s she said is the pic was taken when they were starting to get their adult coloring. I’m not sure how many they have, I have another pic with 3 of them
