Came home and bator was unplugged!!!!!

The temp was 73f in the bator.

The eggs were completely cooled so it must have been unplugged for a while. I plugged it back in hoping to save them. Do you think they will survive? Any advice?

Today is day 8. These are duck eggs.

I could just cry right now. We have those dang old outlets and plugs sometimes fall out and sometimes don't. Looks like I'll have to tape the plug to the wall from now on.

Day 8...I'd say they are perfectly fine. You might have a few less than you WOULD have, but not a drastic reduction. Don't cry! It'll be fine!

Plugs fall out?

Mine don't fall out and I had tape on them anyway with a DEATH WARNING next to it.

I'm 95% sure they will be fine. Several times now I have woken up to my incubator being around 80 F, because the bulb burned out sometime during the night, but still had good hatches, they just took a couple of extra days to hatch. good Luck
