Well, I agree with the rest, it's not going to hurt your chick, but he
might freak out and go ninja for a moment. Since my brooders are
always really bright from the heat lamp, my camera will focus with
the flash turned off, so I don't have to make my babies spaz....
I think all digital cameras have a way to turn the flash on and off.
Last hatch I had, As SOON as my first chick hatched I had a camera in
his face
