Camera shy hens

I guess my girls are shy because I could not for the life of me get a decent picture of any of them. I would click the camera and they would shy away from it. I wanted to share pictures of them on backyard chickens but nope they wont have it. stinkers.

My girls used to be the same way with a camera when they were small. But my camera fits in my pocket and so do chicken treats! So now when I sit on the ground with the girls and reach in my pocket, they are sure treats are coming out. So when the camera comes out, they are not as shy as they used to be. Now a few of them get right in my face and I can get a good pic of chicken beak!

Decent zoom is important

I bet they are shying more away from you than your camera. Only my bravest ones approach when I don't have treats.
