Camper shell, transitioning my chicks

Howdy everyone .Have an old camper shell that has all the windows and is secure. I plan to use it to make a coop coop next weekend but can't til then (budget problem and acquiring tools).

Wondering about putting the chicks outside full time under the camper shell. Right now it's about 65-75 degrees during the day and 40-50 degrees at night with a few drops to 30-35. The shell has no floor but when I push it up against the house it is protected from wind on 3 sides. If I take a box and build a little mini roosting house tats more enclosed for them at night will they survive?

Chicks are 5-6 weeks old. They are mostly feathered out. I believe the camper shell gets about 10 degrees warmer during the day because of a greenhouse effect. Windows on shell open and close so I keep them open during day for ventilation. Right now I bring them in at night but want to start leaving them outside.

I would be worried about the lack of ventilation. If you can figure out a way to keep the windows open, allowing air and light in, but still keep the weather out and the chicks in, it would be perfect for a grow-out space.
