Can’t seem to hatch

Sorry for your troubles. I don't have anything useful to contribute just wanted to wish you luck. Maybe adding in a few female/new genetics will help?

While that might be successful in hatching another generation these ducks carry something genetically you don't want to pass along. Their offspring would also carry it. It would be irresponsible to bred them.

We aren’t really breeding them on purpose, it’s just they wanted to be moms so I was going to let them.

I’ve put the babies with the moms. The moms love them, but the babies are scared of the moms. Is there a way I can change that?

They seem to prefer my foot to the mothers. It’s 90+ degrees outside, so my friend and I are taking shifts to make sure they don’t get too hot and nothing goes wrong.

I’ve brought the bottom of their dog crate inside as well as the ducklings and mamas. I have a huge rabbit cage that takes up half the living room, and they are in there right now. It’s way cooler and the ducklings are actually piled up next to the mamas, and were under them a moment ago!
