Well coop is finished. Run is fenced. Ended up with 5 hens and 1 roo. This was a naturally cauled down group of peeps from a couple different broods. I was going to keep all but separate the roos'. No need now, there dead. Mr or Ms. Raccoon was live trapped and lives in a different part of southern Lanc. Co. , Pa. now. Just 1 roo and 5 hens in 6 ft. by 7 ft coop. 5' 10 stand up wise, with door. Windows on 2 sides with sliding screens. Happy with whole set up but need to know about ratio of birds. Thanks for all the help, leilani10

I see no reason why not. We had one roo and eight hens for the longest time, now we have three roos and 21 hens, and they all get along very well in the same coop and run.

A lot depends upon the nature of the rooster. Very likely all will be fine. If problems arise, address them then.

I had one rooster for 4 hens. He simply over-bred them, resulting in barebacks. I added more hens, so now all is fine.
