Can 15 week old silkies have adult feed?!?!

I have 15 week old silkies and ran out of chick feed. I was wondering if I can start them on All flock crumbles? I have a five year flock of standards and one silkie that use All Flock, both roosters and hens. It shouldn’t harm them right? I mean in one week they are going to get it anyway. They have grit available as well.

You can but I wouldn't keep any bird under 20 weeks on proteins less than 18% if the flock feed is low

Sure, all flock will work fine, if at 18% protein and above, as @nuthatched noted. Do make sure that you have plenty of oyster shells (chunks or flakes) available, plus possibly egg shells from your kitchen.

I have a feeder for shell in the run, but I also scatter it outside along the paths in their yard-range, so that they’ll notice it and give it a try.

Pullets beginning to lay can have some wonky attempts at first, so protein and calcium (shells) support are very important.
