My pullets (3 are 4 weeks old, 3 are 10 weeks old) have been housed separately until now. We finished up the coop and I wanted to get them moved out there soon. Can they go out together despite the 6 week age difference? What do I do about feeding them?

Simple answer is NO

the 10 week old will fight and kill them

I seen it all to often

as of feed Growers ration can be started as of 4 weeks old

I would say no as well. But seeing as we have integrated 1 week-old chicks with 9 week-old pullets, it can't be impossible.

I would love to hear at what point MEMama3 should integrate them into the flock, as my 2 groups are almost the same ages.

In a few days my older group (RIR, BO and BR) will be 11 and 12 weeks and my 4 EEs will be 6 weeks old. I put the EEs in a wire kennel in the run with the other girls during the day and in a built in brooder in the coop during the night, so they see each other all the time.

I was thinking that when the EEs get around 10 weeks old, they would be much closer in size and I would try to integrate them then.

Thoughts?
