The chick that I helped hatch seems weak, The other chick is just a ball of fire. I had to take them out of the bater out of fear of them burning their heads on the heater. The chick that needed help hatching seems weak or just way behind the other. If someone has a cellphone with a video I can tex you a video of her for advice. They hatched yesterday and the day before. I am trying to give it egg yolk and a bit of antibiotic water, but I know that they aren't supposed to eat for a few days, but I read in one of my chicken books that feeding them a little helps reduce stress

i am not an expert, by any means. Hopefully, someone will be along soon with more experience. But i do know that they don't need to eat for the first three days, if they have absorbed the yolk sac. Rather than force feeding, or giving antibiotics, maybe just keep it warm and comfortable. i have helped chicks hatched that looked on the verge of death. But a day or so in the incubator to recover makes all the difference.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

I would not try to feed a newly hatched chick raw egg yolk...try some durvet or another brand vits & electrolytes in his water or Poly-vi-Sol...its a childrens liquid vit and has a dropper with it..try sugar water even...
