Can a bantam Polish be in a chicken tractor with other bantam breeds?

We're planning to keep half a dozen bantam hens in a chicken ark/tractor. We've got bantam Buff Brahmas, White Wyandottes, and Auraucanas on the way. I was thinking about adding a bantam Polish for fun (the kids love them), but I read somewhere that Polish can't be kept with other breeds because they can't see well enough to compete for food. Is this true? We'd love to add some to our chick order -- hopefully would end up with 1 Polish hen and 5 hens of the other varieties. I don't want to do it, though, if the Polish would be miserable (and hungry...)!

    Thanks.
