Can a bantam rooster breed a standard hen?

Can a bantam rooster breed a standard hen....for example can a Bantam Brahma breed a Standard Austrolorp hen?

My buff orp hen followed one little bantam rooster all over the yard (Frankie Sinatra was his name). My Mom saw him trying to mate w/her & thought she was being attacked by a small predator till she got a good look & laughed hysterically.

Did the rooster happen to be a Sumatra?

ETA: Oh yeah bantams can mate with standards.

I have a mix bantam cochin roo that has no problem in this department. I think he's more determined than the standard roo he shares the pen with.
