Hi there,
We have a bantam pekin rooster that we want to fertilise our regular sized isa brown hens so we our broody hen can hatch some chicks. We have read some mixed opinions about bantam roosters and regular hens and just wanted to know if anyone could help us. We've seen him attempt to fertilise the girls, but aren't sure if he actually can because he's a bantam.
Thank you

Its definitely possible, I have had a few mixed bantam/ large fowl. The offspring tend to size just a bit smaller than a large fowl.

That's great! We are really hoping that the eggs will hatch as it will be very cute to see the baby versions of our gorgeous rooster and hens. Thank you

If the hen will let him mount and he can get up there long enough to get the job done, then yes. Whether or not that will actually happen depends on the cooperativeness of the hen and tenaciousness of the rooster lol.
Ok thank you
