She can, the only problem is she will want to teach them to swim and they will follow her and drown so keep any sort of water container large enough for mama to get into out of their way till the chicks are on their own.

Okay we will we don't have a big pond it ain't deep it is cute she covers the eggs when she leaves

They make awesome mamas, just watch the chicks around any water be it a bucket or a dish or shallow pond.. and let us know how it goes...

the best part is is that she went broody in the Hen house

My mom had a Muscovy several years ago that raised chicks. Supposedly the chicks wouldn't follow her into the water, but I wouldn't count on that with all chicks.
