Can a chicken lay more than an egg a day?

I have 5 Americuna's from McMurrys. In a flock of 20 hens and 2 roosters. I keep track of eggs by color. For most of March and April (Hatch Date for my Americanus was August 31) I have had 6 blue eggs most days occasionally 5 and once in awhile 4. This happened for long enough I thought I had 6 Americanus but when I was counting one day I though I lost one, but after checking my records I realized only ever had 5 (well 6 chicks but one died early on, I keep notes so I am sure of it.)

Question is can they lay more than one a day for weeks at a time or is it more likely one of my other hens is laying green eggs? All my chickens come from McMurrays, I had one order of Rare of Rare (which was mostly Roosters now resting in the freezer) from which I have 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Ancona, 1 Silver Duckwing OEGB, 1 BB Red OEGB, 1 buff polish, 1 Partridge Rock, 1 Dominque Rooster all hatched 01 August 2020. My second wave hatched 31 august 2020 are 5 Americanus, 4 White Rocks, and 5 Red Stars also 1 Golden Lace Wynodette Rooster. Only strange thing was my White rocks were were supposed to be all female, I had one Male and one white rock had green legs. Unfortunately Kermit (with the Green Legs) was killed in a dog attack. (We have had chickens for a few years but the last flock was wiped out by fox hence the Dogs which has kept the foxes away except for a few mishaps early on hence Kermits death.)

A lot of knowledge on this forum so I figured I would see what the collect mind would think. All comments welcome.

After writing the post my mind is close to made up that I have a mystery pullet laying blue eggs. I really suspect my White Rocks.

Thanks for the reply.
