Can a duck raise a chick

I have a duck that sitting on chicken eggs and duck eggs I didn’t want it to happen but I just checked the eggs in the eggs are fertile and I don’t know what to do because the duck hisses at me when I try to take them

Problems may arise when the chicks hatch (21) days as compared to 28 or 35 days for duck eggs. I have successfully raised ducklings under chickens, but generally chicks under ducks get stepped on and injured or wet and chilled.

They'll hatch at different times with both species. Chicks can't swim and will have to be separated from the duck because shell try to lead them into ponds
