Can a fart egg have a fart?

I had no Idea, I'd only ever done it with white eggs, LOL

And you're right, if I remember correctly they turn clearish?

Yeah, it actully eats the shell and leaves the membrane. My kids did it with one of the ee's eggs and were facinated with how the color faded away until the shell was gone. They really like it though, I almost always have a container with something (vinegar, corn syrup, water, pop, juice..) and an egg in it on the counter.

Vinegar will dissolve it. Egg Carvers used to use vinegar to carve patterns in egg shells before they had drills.

My "fart egg" had a yolk, we blew it out!!!

Hahah, we had one of those a couple days ago, no bigger than a nickel. Had a little smear of yolk and everything.
