Both hens are docile towards other species, but the dove much more so. With a large cage this should be doable as long as the dove can fly away to safety. But how large is large? Could the dove get to safety if necessary.would aggression or feeding requirments be a problem? i feed my dove wild bird seed as well as finch seeds she loves black sunflower seeds
yes she has an area that she likes to perch on and the cage is 30 inches long 20 inches tall and 19 inches wide
Each one can eat the other's food with no problem. Sharing the same food does pose a nutrition problem. Since quail are ground dwellers put the dove's food dish higher in the cage. Quail should have a game bird mash. The dove may do better eating some of that mash too.ok thank you and is there any problems diet related i should worry about
