Can a frizzle be noticed as a chick?

We think that some of our chicks are frizzles. I have a photo on my page if you want a look at one we think is. Hope you can help. Their wing feathers seem different somehow. Thanks for your help.
 
you'll see them straight away when the primaries start to grow, frizzle feather will curl outwards.
 
There are times, in some breeds where a chick will appear to have the bent or curly feathers of a Frizzle as they feather in as juvenilles and then when they mature, they feather in normal feathered. If the breed is a Frizzle based breed, the Frizzling is obvious as the first feathers come in usually it's a stronger Frizzle, curl, than the ones that will mature to straight feathers later. Side by side it's a difference you would notice. At least in the ones I've seen. What breed do you suspect is Frizzling?
 
Here are a few pic of a frizzle chicks that is a few days old. You can see how the primary feather have an outward curl.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back here. It would be a Cochin Bantam, I think. There could be some Silkie in there as well. I don't think my photos posted. Anyway it should be interesting!
