Can a hen have a stroke⁉️⁉️

She may have Mareks disease. She looks like she is weak on one side and has wry neck, both symptoms of Mareks disease. Contact your state vet tomorrow to obtain a necropsy and test for Mareks at this link:

That's like an autopsy? She's not dead. Don't you think it would be best to let nature take it's course?

I hate to say this but I really don't think this girl is going to get much better and stay better.
You need to start thinking about what you are going to do to help her if she continues to get worse.
What would you suggest? I would like for her to die naturally. Is that not a good idea? She can't hurt the other girls now, they've been together all this time. So, if she has it, they have it too. Right?

I see no problem with letting her die naturally if that is what you choose to do...I don't think I could watch that. IF she does have Marek's disease she is continuously shedding the disease where ever she goes.
I would not worry so much about the birds she has been around...there is nothing that you can do at this point to prevent them from catching what she has.

Getting an autopsy done would let you know exactly what disease you are dealing with. I would suggest keeping a closed flock from now on. Do not sell birds.

Thank you, I don't see any good coming from me shooting her. It will be sad, but, I went into this situation thinking I got what I paid for. Now that I have had them for over two months, I have gotten attached to them all. I have been going out there to put the blind one on a roosting post every time I let them out into the run. I always dip her Beak in the water and food so she knows they are both within reach. I keep more food and water for the others. I have got use to making sure she has food and water. Now Maybe I will have to do it for both of the sisters. I don't mind. God meant for us to take care of the ones that can not take care of themselves. It isn't cruel to let them die naturally is it? they don't have any pain do they?

I don't think it is very comfortable falling over and such. I think you will know if it comes time to "help them.". Only you can make that choice and we will not judge you.
You enjoy them and do what you think is best.

I will not let them suffer. When I see that, I will get my gun. I hope no one will judge me. I just want them to die happy. They must have come from a horrible home. I would like to think I have made their life better, for the end. It is sad.
