Can a hen molt earlier than 1 years old?

Hey everyone! I have a golden laced Wyandotte and it seems like she is molting. She is only 6 months old and is already molting?! Her neck feathers are almost gone. I wanted to know if chickens can molt earlier than a year old?

Can you share pictures? Yes they can go through a mini molt at that age, but generally they won't do a full body molt which includes wings and tail, but it isn't impossible.

Yes they can. Are you certain that a flock mate is not feather pecking/plucking her ?
