Can a roo kill a hen?

I'm in agreement with you there, chkn. Like I said, I found my own hen dead with a broken neck one morning, and we did not have a rooster at the time. I think she got spooked at night and flew into the wall, just like a wild bird can break its neck flying into a window. Perhaps the same happened to the OP's hen.
