my buff Orpington roosters has been acting weird lately. He always has his head in a corner, he is getting very lazy, he is not scratching nor pecking at the ground, and he hardly follows his ladies anymore. We have another rooster he is a bantam silkie but he has his own ladies and doesn’t bother anyone. Not sure what is wrong with my buff rooster! We had to get rid of his 2 rooster friends bc we didn’t have enough ladies but it has been a week or 2 and he seemed fine until now.

If the silky has not subordinated him I would guess that he is ill/
I agree with this. Believe it or not, it is still possible for the smaller silkie to have dominated the flock as alpha. So it could just be him getting used to being subordinate. I had a silkie rooster that was alpha among a few BO roosters so it is possible. If that's not the case he may be ill.......hope that's not what it is. Keep us updated. Good luck :thumbsup

he is also used to warm weather and it is a little chilly outside could that have to do with anything
With BO's I don't think youll have to worry about the cold. they are indeed cold hardy. Mine liked the cold any day over the higher temps...
how cold are we talking? Mine were ok even in low 20's. Theyre supposed to be ok even in the teens and such....if the silkie isn't showing sign like this, then the rest of your flock technically should be ok, as silkies do poorest in the cold
