Story of the ages- bought pullets. Ones a cockerel. If he becomes aggressive, can I house him by himself? I don’t want to cull him or get rid of him. I also don’t want him to be lonely.

He certainly can be housed separately. It's a good idea to go ahead and build an extra pen or have optional housing available regardless if he needs separation now or not.
Having a place to house a bird comes in very handy - there's many reasons why a bird may need to be separated out - injury, breaking broodiness, having a broody, separation due to illness and of course a hormonal teenage cockerel.

Since the cockerel is the same age as your pullets, he may prove to be a pain in the rear until he (and the pullets!) mature. Separation will not kill him.
