Can a rooster find his way home???

Mine can get back from a distance of at most 1/2 mile and they must be able to see home from starting point. If quality habitat (i.e. food, water, roost and cover) enountered they may not go distance.

I have a roo that just wandered up my rural street. Since I’m in KY (for Harris,) I guess it’s not from GA I love him already and hope he stays with me. He just came and of course I kept feeding him.

It’s been 13 years, he might have made it to KY
