Can a standard silkie male mate with standard hens like Cochins and sussex ect.?

Hello everyone!
My problem is that I have a silkie female she is standard but still is smaller then the other standard breeds.
The thing is that my BC roo is a little to big for her hence no breeding is taking place.
Now I thought I’ll get rid of him and get a silkie male but I needed to know if standard silkie males can breed with other standard breeds because if he can’t then it’ll be a problem for my standard Sussex and buff Cochin hens.

Hi there! That is odd, I have a tiny AC bantam, yet my huge Dominique rooster still mates with her. As long as your Silkie rooster isn't pushed down to the bottom of the pecking order by the hens, he should get the job done.

Even little Old English Game Bantams manage to successfully breed standard, large breed hens. A Silkie should have no problems at all.
