Ok. New to this sight and to raising chicks. Our 6 chicks were 3 days old when we got them. They are now 2 weeks old. One was looking different so we looked it up. Its a turkey! What do we do now!?

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join th flock! Oh wow what a shock to end up with a turkey!! I've never raised turkey but I would presume that the turkey will grow so much faster than your chicks and could cause a problem with being so much bigger. So would possibly have to remove it from your chicks. Please do drop by the turkey section for further help on this from the turkey keepers. Wishing you the very best of luck and I hope you enjoy BYC :frow

If it ends up a boy turkey, it would end up badly if he lives with the chickens and attempts to breed them. If you can figure out what sex, maybe you can get a buddy turkey to keep it company. OR rehome it to a turkey person.
