Can adult Canada Geese get 'angel wings'?

I thought that only the young < 6 weeks can get it... is it true that adults can get it? What about from plain rolled oats? Oats do contain a lot of protein, and that is thought to contribute to this disorder...

also can anyone think of something to add to salad lettuce spinach etc to make more appetizing for geese, they won't eat mine. If i sprinkled something on it would they go for it, like uh wheat, or some kind of nut oil or something?

if they are old enough they could live mostly on your lawn... and a bit of water fowl pellets on the side.
