I have a young 3 month old hen? that is very tall in comparison with her? sisters. She is also blue and red. I hope i named the colors right, a reddish color neck with that oily green black tail plumage. What are the chances she is a he? Can a female sport such colors? Are there any features that at this age would give her? away as a rooster that I can look for??
Thanks!

Well, the way you described it, she sounds like an Easter Egger. I have blue and splash Ameraucanas, so Ameraucanas can be blue, but they dont have red in them. The tail plumage sounds like a cockerel, though. A picture would help.

Sounds exactly like an "americauna" rooster I gave up. He was some sort of EE but with the red neck and green/black tail is still a roo.....
