we have a special needs duck, her name is Oreo and she will be a year old mid to end of March, she produced 9 ducklings. But special need animals/ducks do make wonderful pets, absolutely wonderful!! I plan on getting a duckie diaper from Nettie soon, just got back from Vegas and still get situated. But this is Oreo, our special needs girl.

This is her as a baby, she was born with her leg up.

And this is her over this past summer

She is a complete sweetheart! She is indoors for the winter because she just can NOT tread through the snow, or pull it up inside her down to keep it warm. I'm sure your baby may come around, just give it the vitamins and electrolites, big difference I'm sure that you will see.
