can ANYBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHATS WRONG??

Please help me figure out what is wrong with my baby chick.. she seems weak and will not lay down but puts head on the ground and still leaves legs standing... very swollen butt idk what to do...

Doesn't look good. Where and when did you get her? If from a store, you might call the manager and ask for an exchange. If from a hatchery, I'd definitely call them and ask for refund.

Swollen or is the vent starting to prolapse?

I had a two-day old sick chick with a vent like that. The chick had failure to thrive syndrome, and it went from being constipated to diarrhea and back again, her vent becoming swollen and very painful.

First of all, get some coconut oil and gently smooth it on the vent. It will help with the pain and swelling. Then try to determine if the chick is constipated. If it is, you need to get some mineral oil into it. Since chicks don't know mineral oil from water, just hold a teaspoon full under its beak, and it should take a healthy sip, getting enough to unstop it.

If it has diarrhea, you need to try to get some crumbles or boiled egg or even crumbled tofu into it. Also, get some Poultry Nutri-drench and make a "tea" out of its water with it. You may be able to save the chick.

Thank you so much!! Got her from a feed store she is about 4 days old ... and so far she is the only chick out of 30 that isnt looking good..
