Can anyone determine what kind of Silkie this is?

It's been bugging me for months! He doesn't look like any of my other Silkies.

Is he purebred? His comb and wattles look very red, rather than mahogany. As for color, I'd say most likely red, but could be a darker buff. Excuse me if I'm wrong, I'm new at this. How many toes does he have? Is his skin black?

Looks like some of the hatchery quality silkies you can get. I'd call that a hatchery buff or red silkie. I've had hatchery buff silkies with lots of black, single combs, light skin, 4 toes, 6 toes, etc.

he's a silkie mix at least a 2nd generation maybe a 3rd

I have no idea if he is purebred I got him and my other two Silkies from Craigslist. I think he has 3 toes plus a lil stubby one and a spur. My other Silkie has 5 toes.

silkies have 5 toes, black skin, slate legs, feathered legs, a crest, and a beard or no beard as they do come beardless

I agree with some kind of mix. Those wattles are VERY red.

umm well it looks like a partridge silkie i have raised them be for

yes thats what they look like (hatchery quility) the one in question is not a partridge at all more of a red
