Our 6 year old boy is in kindergarden and his teacher is going to be incubating some eggs in April and we are supposed to provide the eggs, the problem is our roo must not be very fertile cuz our broody could not hatch eggs from our chicks. We would prefer some silkie eggs. They would be more of a topic in teaching children about chickens. If there is anyone that could help us please email me at [email protected] Thank you very much

My initial response was GOOD LUCK!!!!! But then I remembered that this community here at BYC is full of a bunch of really awesome and giving people. Hopefully someone will come forth and donate a few.

Yes I will pay for the shipping, I know a lot of the times people sell their eggs for less then the price of shipping. If someone woyuld be willing to donate the eggs I will pay for the shipping. I am in Northern Minnesota if that helps to figure the cost out. Just let me know how much it is and I would be happy to pay for it.

I am still looking for some help with getting some silkie eggs, even half a dozen silkies and the rest cochins or something would be very helpful. I know there are people out there that are willing to help. Please?
