Someone just gave me an idea for my next party! It doesn't have to be for just children either!

This was soooo cute! Unfortunately, I am all thumbs when it comes to knitting! But it's absolutely adorable!

I was hoping to give my daughter a stuffed Silkie since she's afraid of going to sleep at night. No matter what I do, she keeps asking if our Silkie can sleep in her bed! A stuffed one would probably ensure many years of psychotherapy! Though I have seen places where people did stuff their former cats and dogs! Yuck!

I have not seen a silkie one but! I have seen a frizzled one. Made with real feathers. I think is was $15 (before tax). They were really cute.

ETA,
Ok I found this one, it is expensive but darn cute!!!

I don't know about Silkies but there is a Webkinz Chicken....he is kinda cute and ugly all at the same time. He is just a white chicken with wierd stringy feathers.

You buy Webkinz at any Hallmark for under 15 bucks. (My stepdaughter loves them and they have an online game component with them included in the purchase).

Just an option...

My daughter wanted a Webkinz because all of her friends at school had it. I asked one mom and she said that buying all of the things for the animals is kind of expensive and that idea went down the drain. I know that they're reeaaaly cute but we don't even have a television! Well, actually, we do, but no reception. My daughter isn't allowed to use the computer because I need it for work. The one time when she snuck onto it, she downloaded a porn site! Now she can only use it when she wants to send emails to people or when she needs help typing up her homework or letters to her teacher. It's a wonderful way to help kids learn how to read!

Wow! You guys found some really wonderful sites! My favorite was This Place is a Zoo. I saw so many cute things there that I wanted to buy a whole bunch of things for myself...if I could!

I thought that someone on eggbid had Silkie t-shirts a while ago. The front had some puffy soft stuff coming out like a Silkie. Does anybody remember that?

Webkinz can be as expensive or as cheap as you want to make them. The animals themselves are under 15 dollars and the "clothes" are about 5-10 bucks. My step daughter has aquired a bunch of the animals over a couple years as gifts but still only has 2 outfits...one I bought and 1 as a gift. All the other "stuff" is unnessary...

But without the online component it wouldn't be like her school friends....not trying to sell it just explaining cause it took us a while to figure out the world of webkinz....
