Hello! I'm very new to backyardchicken forums and I'm amazed at all the information here! it's certainly been very helpful.

I've just gotten two chicks of my own and I'd like to know if anyone here could help me figure out what breed these two are:

How many toes do they have?

the yellow one has 5 toes and the black one has 4 toes

well the first one looks to be a Silkie to me

not sure about the second??

I was just asking because they look like silkie or silkie mixes to me.

there are indeed feathers on the yellow one's legs, little ones!

I think if anything it's a silkie mix because of the stripes on its back
