Hello,

I have two bantam Cochin cockerels (or Pekins). One his of the Columbian variety and is frizzled the other is white. Both are from the same breeder, AnnaMay Carlson.

White: 24 weeks, Yes, he is 'sun-bleached'( not sure what the term for it is) and a little dirty on his wings because I'm keeping him out until I'm sure I'm gonna use him.

Columbian: 24 weeks, he has gold/buff leakage on his tail I'm pretty sure. Same with the italicized part on white.

I'm not sure what parts of them to take pictures of so.... yeah, if you don't mind telling me what angles and what-not to take pics of, please do. :)
Also, and breeding, housing, showing, etc. tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
~LilJoe

There are a few factors. What colors are your hens? What kind of showing are you planninng on doing? Which one is closer to SOP? For pictures, well lit, so we can see everything correctly. Idealy, they would be taken at bird level (putting them on a taller flat surface like a table helps) with there head up, but not unnaturally. The picture here is not mine, just stile it off the internet. But it shows a pretty good view. I don’t know cochins super well but I can try and help!

So far I don't have any white or columbian hens. At the moment I have a partridge and a silver pencil (had two). I am planning on hopefully doing both fairs and "the big shows", like Ohio Nationals and stuff like that. I am u sure abput your SOP Question. That's basically why I posted this...

Ill get pics later.

Great!! I will try and find the SOP. Sometimes they are online.

How would you judge a frizzle? Its so much harder to see what's right and what's wrong.
Will post pics when I get back
