Can anyone help me gender this bird?

This is my gold and black one, I don’t know what breed she is but I’m leaning towards guessing she is a hen. She does make noises and that’s why I’m asking, can anyone help me? He/she and the barred rock next to them in the picture which with the help of everyone here I was able to gender are around the same age. About 4 months or so.
