Do you usually get that with the big mail order breeders? I specifically went to a big breeder to avoid mixes so I could figure out the best breed for our area & family. Appreciate the input

Not usually, but mistakes sometimes happen. They could be experimenting for a new color or lord only knows. And the where would help narrow down the choices as andreanar just said.

Hmmmm, they don't have much like your bird. It might be worth emailing them with some of your pictures.

But something about that body stance says Easter Egger, or even similar to the Olive Egger offered on My Pet Chicken but with a pea comb.

I'd say that she is an Easter Egger.
One time I ordered 15 Light Brahma pullets from Murray McMurray hatchery and they gave me a cockerel and a chick that was a completely different breed. I've read on here that other folks have gotten the wrong breeds in their orders from Murray hatchery too, so it's nothing new.

Could certainly be a whiting true blue since their appearance is so varied. But something about the shape of the bird in question says EE to me. I'm going with splash olive egger!!
