can anyone help me with a cpl bator questions

Lastnight i set up my homemade bator to hatch some chicken eggs in. Well i tried looking up to see how I can raise the temp in there a bit & poss lower the humidity a tiny bit. The thermometer/hygrometer seems to have leveled out at 92 temp 56 humidity anyone have any ideas mainly with the heat problem i had planned on setting my eggs tonight.

What is your heat source? Light bulb? I'm assuming you are running the incubator dry already?

Yea its a light bulb i did have a regular 40w bulb in there but it started to melt the lid i replaced it with one of those energy saving bulbs
