Hi!
I needed help before i got some more Silkies and what colors i can get.
What can i get from these colors? Left Resembles Roo Right is Hen :
Black - White
Calico - White
White - Cuckoo
Black - Cuckoo
Calico - Cuckoo
Calico - Black

Also what 2 colors makes a Cuckoo? Would me best chances be using a Cuckoo in the breeding not trying to make it? And what colors would i need to try to produce Lavenders?Partridge?Buff?Red? I am just wondering cause it would be nice to always know what my chances are of getting.

All help welcomed!

Sonoran Silkies will be better able to advise you about silkies. I can tell you how colours work.

Cuckoo is barring (B) on black. You could put the black male with cuckoos that will give sex linked offspring the males will carry one gene for cuckoo (B), the females will be black. You will then have cuckoo males with one cuckoo gene to mate with your cuckoo females.
Black male also with black females is also the best bet.

Keeping the whites with the whites is usually best. White silkie matings with any other colour are unpredictable.

Can't help you with the calicos. I gather there are different interpretations of the colour.

To make lavender you will need to introduce a lavender gene. The first stage for this is usually to breed a lavender bird with a black bird with the best possible type.
Partridge, buff & red birds can be bought. There is no guarantee any of your birds will carry the necessary genes for those colours.

Black + Cuckoo = black daughters and cuckoo sons

Calico (splash with autosomal red) + Cuckoo = blue daughters that may show autosomal red (usually on breast) & crele-like sons (I think--someone correct me if that is wrong?)

Calico (grey with autosomal red) + Cuckoo = incomplete partridge or grey cuckoo sons, grey with autosomal red daughters

Calico (splash with autosomal red) + Black = blue daughters that may show autosomal red

Calico (grey with autosomal red) + Black = incomplete partridge or grey with autosomal red (depending on whether black carriessilver or gold)

Cuckoo requires barring and fast feathering genes. WIth silkie feathers I don't think the fast feathering gene is necessary--the nature of the silkie feather should create the blurry cuckoo barring pattern. It would be interesting for someone to carry out the test breeding to see if there is a noticeable difference.

You need to acquire a lavender silkie--there are lots out there.

Partridge?Buff?Red?

Same answer, except that there aren't that many reds. But there are some.
