I cannot figure out how to post on the classifieds. I want silkies near VA coast and when I try to figure out how to post, it tells me I can only have one open. I don't have any at all.
help please??
 
I know a lady in Gloucester that raises/breeds silkies...if only there wasn't that pesky Bay in between

I am willing to drive there to get them!

I had spent all, and I mean all! day helping another person and myself to find Silkies. He found some in MD. I offered to drive to get them. 3 hrs away.

They picked them up and he had promised to let me have two and told me where I could call the man that owned them. The owner told me he also had a brown one that he hadn't planned on selling but would go ahead and let me have it and send it with the others.

This morning the guy's wife (the one I helped) told me they didn't get the brown one and I couldn't have any of the others. So I called back the owner who then told me that she had taken the brown one for me. IT WAS SOOO DIRTY... and I am sooooo upset...the liars and cheaters. I ended up with none for my trouble and hurt to boot!

Do you have their phone # or email address?
Sorry, I had to get this off my chest!

BTW I didn't curse, but I called that woman back and told her what I thought of them and they would always have to live with that in their hearts!

Well, a man I have gotten nchickens from before just called and told me he was driving to PA today to get chickens and he had found someone with Silkies for me...so I get 8 blues and partridges. I get to pick them up tomorrow from him and he lives only about 20 miles away for me. Thanks anyway!!

So glad you found some...SIlkies are by far some of my favorite chickens. I really want to get some Lavender ones.
 
I didn't know they came in lavender yet! :)
I think Burke told me there were splash, blue, and partridge. 8 total. I told him to bring them all and I would take them at 3.50 ea...which is what he needed for them. Then I can pick and choose, sell the others. So many people over this way have been ookin I shouldn't have trouble!
