Can anyone help with breed and gender?

Hello all, I'm typing from Queensland, Australia. We were recently gifted a chicken coop and after finally setting it up, my other half surprised us by getting some chooks. They are approx 12 weeks old. I would love if anyone can advice as to what breed they may be and also if you think they are pullets or cockerels? Thanks in advance

Pictures are a bit hard to tell. But they both just look like cross breeds. The white one might be a hen and the brown one is a rooster.

Clearer pictures would help.

Sorry, I will post some more photos shortly. I've been told by my other half that the brown one is actually older... Likely 16 weeks, if that makes any difference. The white one is younger and still chirps.

Can anyone help? It's been 3 weeks since I posted. I don't believe his/her comb has grown any more but the wattle has almost doubled in size.

The brown one looks 100% roo.
The white one looks like a pullet.
