Hi!

Ok...I think my babies are big enough to where you can tell their sex...I don't think I got good enough pictures...they are so flighty I had to have the husband hold on tight - I know most of the breeds, but there are 2 that are puzzling...

1. Ok - First, Rose...I think she is a Cornish...she has red flecking in her feathers...pullet?

2. This is Daisy...it is SOOOOOOOOO hard to take pics of her...especially with her being black...Australorp pullet?

3. This is Aster...I was told Aracauna??? Probably EE though huh? I am not sure at all of the sex...

4. This is Lotus - I know the breed is Silkie...and I know Silkie's are hard to sex at this age, but does anything stand out?

5. This is Willow - Sizzle? Not sure of the sex - but I hope she is a pullet! She is my fave!

So, any thoughts? Thanks so much...I would be lost without you guys!!!

I think Daisy is a black sex link more likely than an australorp. The feet match this better and she doesn't have enough white coloring to say australorp to me.

I think all of your pictures need more of the wings and back in them though, with just the head and feet its really difficult.

How old are they?
Until I see something that says Roo - - - I say:

#1 pullet

#2 pullet

# 3 pullet and EE

# 4 don't know

# 5 don't know, but that is one wicked stink eye

Thank you!!! LOL - Willow (#5) always gives the stink eye in pictures...I have taken a million pics and not one with the sweet face that I see every day - lol...

I just started raising chickens. I bought mine at a Tractor supply store at Easter. I have 2 that have the most fluffiest tails ever. I think they are adorable (my other family members call them the 2 ugliest chickens...) They both look exactly like one of the pictures you have here. The Silkie one. I heard Silkies are good show chickens so Im so excited to have 2 Silkies. Ill be on this forum alot reading about chickens more. I love chickens now!
