The best place to learn what is required for show quality Barred Rocks and what they should look like is the American Standard of Perfection. The book is available at Amazon. It is unfortunate that many of The Standards of Perfection on Amazon.com are illegal reprints of very old editions. APA never let their copyright lapse so every volume is still in their hands. There may be some old copies of old unreprinted Standards out there but who's to say if the Standards for one's desired breed haven't changed since hen.The current Standard of Perfection (2010) is only available thru APA. 59.00 online at their Store.
