I highly recommend that you stop feeding so many treats and feed only the complete balanced layer crumble.

It could be that this particular bird is not getting a balanced diet because it is eating too many treats.

good point! they don't get scraps every single day but they do go absolutely insane and gobble them up when they do. I will cut back on the treats!

Have you cracked it open to be sure it's really an egg?
If it won't crack easy, break out the Nut Cracker!

Hello there! I am admittedly in my rookie year of chicken raising but I cannot figure out what is wrong with this egg?! Any guesses?

Could be a glitch, unless it keeps on happening.
