Can anyone shed some light on what breed my young rooster is?

The rooster in question is my avatar. He has a dark beak, eyes and legs. He is goldish in color with green plumage. He looks like a Birchen Marans but I am confused because of the light breast plumage. Can anyone help me? I have additional photos but for some reason (perhaps because I am new to the site) I can't attach them.

Is he laced on the breast? I know he has a single comb but maybe a hatchery slw or slw mix? Better pics would help, try raising your post count to ten and see if you can post pics.
