I need a special small coop or tractor for my cockerels so that I can move them away from the house for the sake of quiet in the morning. The thing is, once my hens are old enough for breeding/egg-laying, the bachelor's quarters will be turned into breeding pens, so it needs to be somewhat versatile.
I'm thinking of some sort of arrangement that will keep the two cockerels separated by a chicken wire fence, but inside the same pen, and have some way to open that up to allow the roo occasional access to the hens when it's time to put them in there and take the other roo to his own place.
Does this make any sense??
