Growth molt wreath

I saved all of the wing and tail feathers from the girl's(3) growth molts. I just tossed them in a bucket next to the run because they were too pretty to throw out. I got the crafting bug yesterday, so I washed, blow dried, and styled. I love that I have this from their first year❤️

That's beautiful! What a nice idea. How did you wash the feathers? What soap did you use?

That's beautiful! What a nice idea. How did you wash the feathers? What soap did you use?
Thank you! I let them soak on a bucket with warm/hot water for about 30 minutes, and swished them around every so often. Rinsed with cold water, and used a blow dryer. I was considering freezing them for 48 hours, bit I skipped this step because it's going to be outside anyhow. If it was something I was keeping indoors, I would probably do that extra step
