Hello, I’m a new chicken owner so I’m still learning.
I have a chicken who is molting around her neck. The other girls haven’t been bugging her neck up until today… it looks really irritated and red in the area. Any recommendations on what to use on her that would stop the others from pecking at the new feathers without effecting her new feather growth?
She is older so her molting phases tend to go a little bit longer.

It may be necessary to separate her from the flock until the molt is over. Can you section off a portion of the coop/pen for her?
